Here is the way that the game depicts different numbers, what their actual names are. Each number is comprised of 1000 of the previous number, or 1000 times greater.
Scientific notation is used to have very large numbers in a smaller space. 147260000 turns into: 1.4726e8 Where "eX" is 10^X. The number X also represents the number of times the decimal places is moved to the right in the notation.
