- The Masked Samurai is one of the Power Five, with the other four being
Treebeast, Ivan, the Drunken Brawler, Brittany, Beach Princess, and The Great Forest Seer. - The Masked Samurai is the first main hero, which means he is the first hero who is more efficient for DPS than any other hero up to a certain point, that point being the end of Atlas's x5 damage multipliers.
- As The Masked Samurai does not appear to be beholden to a lord, such as a shogun, this would make his name a misnomer. He is more accurately described as a ronin.
