List of Clicker Heroes versions and patch notes. Due to platform differences, not every update was available everywhere. For example, the Unity port was published on Steam rather late.

1.0e12 - 5446 (December 19th, 2024)[]

Bug fixes:

  • The 13,000 ruby bundle has been changed to a 14,000 ruby bundle to match how much is offered on mobile.
  • The purchasable ruby bundle amounts are now properly formatted based on chosen language (i.e. 14000 becomes 14,000 for English, 14.000 for German, etc).
  • The quest reroll button has been fixed so it is now more legible.
  • A previous change had the raid damage popup displaying numbers in a different format. This has been reverted.

Notable changes:

  • We've unified how rubies are awarded, purchased, and charged so that the desktop version matches the amounts on mobile.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixes the 'Connection Error' players experienced when trying to load into their clans.

Notable changes:

  • Added a Cloud Save system that allows you to save/load your progress online on demand. Register now through the Options menu by clicking on 'Login with Playsaurus'.
  • Added a new authentication method, so you can use the brand-new Cloud Saves feature.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed ascension and transcension stats showing the wrong amount of time if a player logged more than 1,193 hours for that ascension/transcension.
  • Fixed save import preview information for 'Highest Zone Ever' field

Experimental fix:

  • Changed network integration system to try solving 'Connection Error'.

Notable changes:

  • Added accessible UI in the Heroes, Ancients, and Transcendence tabs to change level scaling using a mouse instead of just the keyboard.
  • When opening the options popup, the email entry field is now hidden until you press the "Sign Me Up!" button to help maintain privacy.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed issue where players would sometimes defeat an immortal in a raid but the damage was not accurately reported to the server.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed hero upgrades that increase critical hit damage not taking effect immediately.
  • Fixed not being able to import older save files.
  • Fixed Spanish and Portuguese missing translations that showed up as "#NAME?" in text.

Notable changes:

  • Added Hindi, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Romanian, Swedish, Hungarian, and Vietnamese localizations.
  • Added an ascension popup menu with information about ascending.
  • Golden Clicks tooltip now displays accurate percentage of gold gained from clicking bosses.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixes not being able to load into clans that have back slashes in the clan name.
  • Fixes certain clicking related stats not updating immediately after leveling up an ancient.

  • The button to fight in a raid will become disable once the raid expires.

Experimental fix:

  • We have tweaked how individual immortal raid damage totals are added up to allow for more accurate damage values to be sent to the clan server. We encourage players to reach out to us on Discord, Reddit, or X/Twitter and let us know if this has a positive or negative effect on their immortal raid experience.

  • If you don't have enough rubies to revive a mercenary, the popup prompting you to buy rubies now tells you how many you need.

New Raid System:

  • We have revamped the entire clan tab with a new UI and a whole new raid system.
  • The new raid system rewards two currencies: Rubies and Immortal Souls

New Feature: Raid Progression

  • Immortal Souls can be used to increase your level and thus, increase your damage per click against Immortals.
  • While you'll start off gaining only small amounts of rubies, the stronger you grow, the more rubies you'll earn by defeating higher level Immortals.

New Feature: Raid Classes.

  • Raids now have you choose one of the three classes to do battle against Immortals: Rogue, Mage, or Priest
  • Immortals are weak to a different one of the classes everyday so work with your raid to have all the types covered.

New Feature: Bonus Fights.

  • After completing an Immortal for the day, your clan has the option to buy an additional fight for rubies based on the level of the Immortal.
  • The bonus fight allows you to gain even more Rubies and Immortal Souls per day.
  • Only one member has to pay for the whole clan so work with your clan to spread the wealth.

New Feature: Immortal Locking.

  • Immortals in the new system are much tougher than before and some will require farming in order to beat.
  • Clan Masters will be able to stop the automatic progression of Immortal fights so that they can stay on an Immortal they can beat and therefore continue to get rewards.

New Feature: Check-In

  • Not every Immortal will take your entire roster of ten to beat so as long as you show up for the day, even if the Immortal is dead, you can check-in for the rewards.
  • Adds achievements for beating zones 100000, 250000, and 1000000.

Other key differences:

  • Only 3 Autoclickers are allowed in the fight at a time
  • The fight timer is 16 seconds
  • Only the best of your scores counts against the Immortal but you can pay 10 rubies to try to improve your score.

Legacy Raid System:

  • If you liked the old system, you can still do those!
  • The old raid system has been renamed to "Legacy Raids"
  • In the new UI, it has been placed in the third tab from the top

Miscellaneous:

  • Transcendence: If you have reached zone 300 or later, you will be able to sacrifice your ancients, hero souls, relics, forge cores and gilds* to appease the Outsiders and gain previously unheard of levels of power. The more hero souls a player has sacrificed to transcend, total, over the entire life of the game (including those which had been spent on ancients who are sacrificed) the more Ancient Souls and Transcendent Power they will have. <br\>* Gilds purchased with rubies will be restored gradually as regular gilds are unlocked in the new transcendence.
  • Ancient Souls: Feed these to the Outsiders to gain new upgrades, such as greatly improved effectiveness of idle bonuses or stronger Solomon effects.
  • Transcendent Power: With this, every primal boss drops exponentially more hero souls than the boss before it.
  • New Big Number System: Faster and more precise calculations for the very large numbers. Ridiculously large numbers are now supported, which can only really be attained through multiple Transcendences.
  • Rebalanced Ancients: All Ancients which previously had a maximum level are no longer capped and can be upgraded indefinitely. Note: If you previously had any levels of these ancients, you will see your current ancient levels adjusted to match your previous values.   • Ancient Leveling Improvements: Quantities of ancient level purchases now dynamically adapt to the current level of the ancient. No longer limited to purchasing a maximum of 10k levels at a time for very high level ancients. Additionally, players can now hold 'V' when leveling ancients to be given the option to type in the exact number of levels they wish to purchase.
  • Non-Transcendent Ancients: Iris, Khrysos, Pluto and Thusia do not exist for players who have transcended. Transcendent players are much more powerful than non-Transcendent players, and these ancients needed to be removed either because they would be too powerful when combined with Transcendent Power or because they would be worth very little without the other removed ancients.

  • LIMITED TIME DEV GIFT: +30 Hero souls to anyone who reaches level 120. Collect it now and buy some great ancients.
  • Added 'Centurion Bosses' every 100 levels. Each one is guaranteed to provide ascension souls (like primal bosses).
  • Added 'Ancients'. Ancients can be summoned from the Ancients tab if you have hero souls. Ancients are permanent (they survive Ascensions) and each Ancient provides a unique bonus to your game that you can upgrade by spending hero souls on it. There are 26 unique Ancients.
  • Because these are now provided by the Ancients, we removed the cooldown and gold bonuses from having Hero Souls. For players who really liked their cooldown bonus, 'Vaagur, the Ancient of Impatience' will be available in the first set of ancients you receive.
  • Importing saves will now calculate your offline gold.
  • Lots of new achievements.
  • Changed the 'Super Levelupper' achievement from 100,000 Hero Levels required down to 50,000 Hero Levels required.
  • Achievements now show progress on mouse-over.

  • Added Gilded Heroes. Each time a hero is gilded, they receive a +50% damage bonus. You will receive one for beating your all-time highest zone at level 100, and every 10 levels thereafter. The reward is retroactive for players who reached these levels and ascended.

  • Restored gold bonus for Hero Souls. Two percent World gold bonus per Hero Soul, with a maximum of +50%, while we implement a better system for it.
  • Added Primal Bosses. Every 5th zone starting on zone #105 has a chance of having a Primal Boss as the first boss you fight. Primal bosses are worth 1 Hero Soul. If you are past level 105, you should go back and check if any of your previous boss zones have a Primal Boss in it and collect their hero souls.
  • Added a gift of 5 hero souls for players who reach zone 100. If you haven't reached it yet, get there now! Limited time only!
  • Added “Progression Mode” button for players who reach zone 100. When on, the game tries to go to the highest zone automatically. Don't do this if you're stuck at a boss that you can't beat!
  • Late-game zones (140) are rebalanced.
  • Performance optimizations.
  • Export function now brings up local file dialog.
